Die Kirchheimer Handball Damen müssen die erste Pleite der Saison hinnehmen. Am Sonntag
verloren die Teckstätterinnen auswärts gegen den TB Neuffen 2.
Schon in den ersten Minuten des Spiels zeichnete sich ab, dass dieses Match kein Leichtes
werden wird. Beide Teams spielten zu Beginn auf Augenhöhe. In der 12. Minute konnten die
Kirchheimerinnen zunächst ausgleichen und dann mit 7:6 in Führung gehen. Zur 16. Minute
konnte sich der VfL sogar mit einem guten Angriffsverhalten 10:6 absetzen. Jedoch ließen die
Damen vom TB Neuffen 2 nie nach und erzielten in der 24. Minute den Ausgleich zum 11:11.
Viele technische Fehler häuften sich an, sodass keine Torerfolge erzielt werden könnten. Nur
dank einer guten Torhüterleistung und dem Teamgeist ging es mit 14:14 in die Halbzeitpause.
In der Halbzeitbesprechung nahmen sich die VfL Damen daher vor, im Angriff konsequenter
und ruhiger zu spielen, um wieder Torerfolge zu erzielen. Dies wurde teilweise gut umgesetzt,
auch durch schnelle Angriffe. Jedoch blieb der TB Neuffen 2 regelmäßig dran und übernahm
durch ihre starken Rückraumspielerinnen immer wieder die Führung. Zur 53. Minute konnten
die Kirchheimerinnen wieder zum 24:24 ausgleichen. Starke Einzelaktionen von Chiara Malter
und eine gute Abwehr- und Torhüterleistung hielten den VfL im Spiel. Danach mangelte es
dem VfL jedoch an Ausdauer und Konzentration. Der Gegnerinnen nutzten diese schwache
Phase des VfL aus und erzielten erfolgreich ihre Tore. Trotz des Kampfgeistes der
Kirchheimerinnen kam es letztendlich zu keiner Wende des Spiels mehr. Die VfL Damen
mussten sich mit einem Endstand von 24:28 für den TB Neuffen geschlagen geben.
Für das erste Heimspiel am kommenden Samstag, den 14. Oktober, gilt es daher, die Punkte
vor heimischem Publikum gegen den TSV Denkendorf zu ergattern.
